Music was planted in me at conception, and just like a seed it grew as time passed, stimulating my growth as an individual, increasing knowledge and bestowing its much wisdom. Nurtured by a strong foundation consisting of a firm family, reverence for the omnipotent presence in the world, and a love for education it’s no surprise that music was the avenue I dreamed of exploring. In truth all I wanted to do was to spread the many moods of man onto the many nations for this world.

The Journey began in 1996 in Grandbay Dominica @ Pierre Charles Secondary with Impulse Sound Crew. Not being a member I hanged around & played music when I got a chance and became good at it. I hanged around DJ Pupa (R.I.P) "Trench Town" and learned to mix and select better and took the creative style of DJ Commodore. 2001 I started my own sound name The Optimistique Family. I started dropping mix tapes frequently within a few yrs I have amounted up to 40. I got my big break in 2003 when I dropped 'United We Stand Vol 1, with the help of Graphics record shop we distributed a large number. 2004 I left and went to the US where I am currently located at the moment and doing well in Atl. Formally the hardest working man in the band; D’Engineer !! Formally known as, Cosmos. Before his departure from the Hottest Boyoun Band in the United States and Canada, Cosmos was the Front of House Dj for The Royalty Band for over 3 years. With a passion for promoting Dominican Music, He would play tunes sung and written by Dominicans all over the world. He felt obligated to promote and elevate Dominican music within our global hemisphere via an internet radio station called Islandriddimz.Com After parting ways with Royalty; 2007, a group of 3 men with a strong passion for music, started out Islandriddimz Soundz. Their first gig to a small crowd was enthusiastically received. Several parties in their home base of Newark, New Jersey soon followed.

In early 2003 a young DJ Webb was introduced to a mixing console and a Denon CD player at Kairi FM. The most popular radio station in Dominica at that time, Instantly he was fascinated with the whole concept of a radio dj, later that year he started dj on Kairi Fm on Saturdays. He then moved on from Kairi FM and started djing on the internet developing a small fan base. He continued with his progress as a dj, even taking part in 3 Heineken dj competitions. DJ Webb has taken a break from Djing for a few years concentrating on his local business, but with the re-launch of Islandriddimz.com he saw it fit to come out of retirement.

I was born on the little spice isle rock called Grenada. At a very young age I had been captivated by music. I started djing since 1999 and haven't stopped since. I have done most of my djing overseas (Cuba). But now I’m back in Grenada doing big things and part of that includes tearing up weeknights on the virtual  turntables on Islandriddimz. I have a great sense of music which is usually reflected in my performance plus I strive for perfection so I always search for ways of improving the already great way I bring forward music to the listeners. My only goal is the satisfaction of my listeners and to give them something special, something that would make them keep coming back for more.

And also known as mister porgy, I am the man who started the Muzik Doctarz movement which was and still is uncensored radio. I’ve been djing for almost a year now and don’t intend to stop anytime soon.

I began my musical career in the early development of the Kross Vybes band in Dominica playing the guitar. Later began working on creating beats of all sorts from hip-hop, to zouk, dancehall, soca & Dominica’s popular bouyon music. During this time I began developing my vocal skills and began studio work with various artists creating musical hits for the world for all genres of music. DJing had always been a major interest in my life DJing at small events and creating mixtapes. Online DJing became a part of my life when the Muzik Doctarz Inc group had been developed broadcasting all the latest tunes.
